Cha-Cha-Cha-Changes

Howdy!

First things first– as you may have noticed, I’ve gone all blogger crazy and changed up the title of this blog. Turns out someone else out there in the blogosphere recently started  a blog and named it “Chasing Pavements,” my original name for this blog. Since it was just Independence Day and I like to remain unique (i.e. I’m getting all mother lion over here about my blog and don’t want my writing to be confused with anyone else), I decided I would change my own blog’s name to something else in effort to avoid being replicated.

*New name: The Pancake Girl.*

Why this oh so original name? Well for as long as I can remember, I have been known as that girl with the obsessive love of pancakes. When I was little, my after-school snack was usually a few homemade pancakes smothered in syrup. While in undergrad, my friends even threw me a surprise midnight pancake party one year for my birthday (I then proceeded to demolish about 15 pancakes in one sitting, no joke, but that’s a tale for another time).

Soooo that’s my story and I’m sticking with it… I hope you all will continue to check in on me and my little blog, regardless of it’s new name. I love writing, and cherish the idea that my silly posts are being read by others, and possibly affecting them in some way.
